All is not what it seems in Mike Barker’s upcoming thriller, Luckiest Girl Alive. Adapted from Jessica Knoll’s New York Times best-selling mystery, this Netflix movie has Black Swan's Mila Kunis at the forefront of success, secrecy, and bucket loads of trauma.
In an almost Gone Girl-esque monologue, Ani FaNelli (Kunis) takes us through her perfect life of weddings, wealth, and working at "The New York Times Magazine." But, everything changes with the arrival of her high school teacher, Mr. Larson (Scoot McNairy), springing the trailer into a muddle of mystery — and a struggling Kunis trying to make sense of it all.
Despite having the perfect life, perfect job, and perfect husband, Ani FaNelli (like many of us) can’t escape her teenage years. But what if those years are the exact ones you should face?
Luckiest Girl Alive premieres on Netflix this Oct. 7.
