SAVE $50: The Dyson Corrale hair straightener/styler typically retails for $499.99, but you can get it on sale for $449.99 (or 10% off) through Saturday, Dec. 3 when you enter the promo code DYSONLIVE22 at checkout. Your order includes three complimentary gifts worth up to $125.
There's a slim-to-zero chance you'll see the Dyson Airwrap in stock anywhere this holiday season (much less on sale), but the Dyson Corrale is a different story — for a limited time, at least.
Now through Saturday, Dec. 3 at 11:59 p.m. ET, you can order the cordless hair straightener/styler directly through the Dyson website for just $449.99 using the promo code DYSONLIVE22 at checkout (offered in honor of this week's Dyson Live holiday shopping event with celebrity stylist Jen Atkin). On top of that $50 discount on its $499.99 MSRP, you're also given the option of bundling the Corrale with three complimentary gifts worth up to $125 total. Choose from the following:
-
a presentation case for storing your Dyson Corrale (worth $59.99)
-
a smoothing paddle brush (worth $39.99)
-
a detangling comb (worth $24.99)
-
a Dyson Vented barrel brush for adding volume to medium-length to long hair (worth $39.99)
It's worth mentioning that Nordstrom Rack had the Corrale on sale for just $279.99 at the time of writing — its cheapest price anywhere — but it's a refurbished model with a shorter warranty that's not eligible for returns. It's also only available in the standard Black Nickel/Fuchsia finish, whereas Dyson had models available in Black Nickel/Fuchsia, Black/Purple, Fuchsia/Nickel, Copper/Nickel, Prussian Blue/Rich Copper, and this year's special gift edition Vinca Blue/Rosé the last time we checked.
You can grab a brand new Corrale on sale for $399.99 at Best Buy if you're signed up for its free My Best Buy loyalty program (a lingering Black Friday deal), but it doesn't include any free gifts. If you factor those in, Dyson's current offer still reigns supreme.
Former Mashable tech reporter Rachel Kraus wasn't a fan of the Corrale's price tag or iffy battery life, but deemed it a worthy splurge for anyone in search of a fast straightener that won't fry their hair with daily use. (Dyson says the Coralle's manganese copper alloy "flexing plates," which bend around your hair instead of smushing it, make it possible to style with minimal heat damage.) It's also ace at creating soft curls and waves, Kraus noted in her 3.8/5-star review, in case you're looking for a hair tool that can do double duty. That somewhat helps to justify its cost, IMO.
"It’s pricey; it’s frivolous for the moment, but — like most Dyson offerings — it’s a great product," Kraus concluded.
